Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup butter, salted
  • 1 1/2 cups firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 1/2 cups whole-wheat flour
  • 2 1/2 cups oats
  • 2 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Preheat the oven to 350°
  • Grease baking sheet or line with parchment paper. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Stir in flour, oats, baking soda, and salt; mix well. Fold in chocolate chips. On prepared cookie sheet drop 1 level tablespoon of dough for each cookie, 1 1/2 inches apart. 
  • Bake 10-12 minutes. After the cookies are done, let the cookies cool for a few minutes and enjoy!
